Study plans and Programs Unit
The unit aims to supervise and follow up with the academic departments to ensure the application of study plans and check the follow-up of learning outcomes and ways to achieve them.
Tasks of study plans and programs unit:
- Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic plans at the college level in the field of study plans and recommendations for coursework.
- Evaluate study plans for different disciplines through feedback from faculty members.
- Study the suitability of the knowledge and skills acquired by the student during his/her study to the requirements of the labor market and recommend in this light their development.
- Study the compatibility of the content of the courses and teaching methods with the objectives of the courses and expected educational outcomes.
- Organize the files of study plans and course recommendations to ensure the speed and ease of reference, especially in the transfer or transfer of students to and from the college.
- Work on developing study plans in cooperation with the presidents and supervisors of the departments in the college and the sub-committees in the academic departments.
- Follow up faculty members and urge them to distribute brief descriptions to students at the beginning of each semester.
- Represent the College in meetings on study plans and course descriptions.
- Coordinate with the academic guidance unit at the college and conduct studies with its participation.
- Participate in the preparation of the annual report on the word for the unit.
- Carry out any other duties assigned to the unit by the supervisor.
