The student's semester and cumulative averages are calculated automatically through the system. In order to know how to calculate the rates, the following steps must be followed:
Calculating the semester average:
The semester average is calculated using the following points:
1- Know the number of course hours.
2- Knowing the degree obtained in each course.
3- Knowing the grade corresponding to the grade.
4- Knowing the value of appreciation.
5- Knowing points = number of course hours x grade value
6- Determine the total points obtained in all courses of the semester.
7- Determine the total number of hours registered in the semester.
The semester average is calculated according to the following formula:
The semester average = Total points (item 6) divided by Number of registration
hours in the semester (item 7).
The following table shows the percentage points, grade, and grade value that the student obtains in each course. The table is used to calculate points:

Cumulative GPA calculation:
The cumulative GPA is calculated as follows:
1- Total points total (for all semesters studied).
2- The total number of credit hours (for all semesters studied).
The accumulative average is calculated according to the following formula:
Cumulative GPA = Total points total divided by Total credit hours
Below is an example of calculating past rates

Cumulative GPA calculation:
GPA = total points for the two semesters ÷ hours for the two semesters = 105.5 ÷ 30 = 3.52
The general estimate of the cumulative average upon graduation of the student based on his cumulative average is as follows:
1. Excellent if the cumulative GPA is not less than 4.50 out of 5.00.
2. Very Good if the GPA is from 3.75 to less than 4.50 out of 5.00.
3. Good if the GPA is between 2.75 and less than 3.75 on a scale of 5.00.
4. Acceptable if the GPA is from 2.00 to less than 2.75 out of 5.00.
