It is a scientific method for caring for the students of the department in all scientific, social, psychological and cultural aspects. It also means directing advice and advice to everyone who needs it.
Duties of the Academic Guidance Committee:
1. Holding a meeting with the students at the beginning of each semester to identify the problems they face and introduce the tasks of the unit.
2. Organizing meetings and forums related to academic advising for male and female students.
3. Provide female counsellors with department schedules, members' schedules, hall schedules, appointments, and all information related to the student.
4. Develop a mechanism to receive and respond to female students' complaints.
5. Preparing an annual report at the end of the year on the work of the committee.
6. Introduce the students to their mentors and the importance of the counselling process.
Duties of the academic advisor:
1. Familiarizing students with the university's rules and regulations, especially with regard to the study and exams regulations, and the study and transfer system.
2. Helping female students to adapt to the specialization, especially the new developments, and working to overcome the obstacles and problems they face.
3. Assisting the student in preparing the study schedule and the procedures for adding, dropping, postponing, and apologizing.
4. Introducing the student to the accumulative average, explaining the reasons for its high and low, academic symbols and terminology.
5. Developing cultural and cognitive awareness among female students.
6. Prepare a report at the end of the semester for the head of the department, including a summary of the work and proposals.
