Based on the keenness of @cshpsau college to enhance cooperation between #Prince_Satam_University and government and private agencies, the @chemistry456 department implemented a student visit to the Pure Beverage Industry Company in Al-Kharj on Thursday 18-5-2023 to learn about the many stages that the water industry goes through, from purification and desalination to packaging and packaging, in order to increase their scientific and practical outcomes under the supervision of Dr. Hani Mostafa, activities coordinator at the Chemistry Department.
The college received a delegation of Al-Ahlia University high school students, on Tuesday 16-5-2023, to see the departments of the college, with the aim of learning about university life and academic degrees awarded by the college.

It allows local and global communication between Globe Schools with the aim of exchanging experiences and information to cooperate in order to establish scientific environmental activities, noting that many of these activities are applied field activities. Al-Hayathim School was chosen among two schools in Al-Kharj Governorate.
The graduate unit of the College of Science and Human Studies in Al-Kharj (female sections), represented by the Graduation Projects Committee, organized a training course under the title: (Research in the Saudi Digital Library SDL)
It was presented by Assistant Professor, Department of Chemistry, Dr. Wafaa Abu Al-Yazid, on Monday, corresponding to 4/10/2023.
The program aims to enable female students to use the Saudi Digital Library to search for various sources of knowledge, and also to teach female students how to search for a specific point related to their graduation project through the Saudi Digital Library.
The training course also provided a brief overview of how to download various research papers and books from the Saudi Digital Library.
A report on the field visit to the National Research Center for Agriculture and Livestock
Based on the keenness of the college administration to enhance aspects of cooperation between Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University and various governmental and private sectors, which is considered one of the Objectives of the Chemistry Department A group of students from the Chemistry Department visited some of the laboratories at the National Research Center for Agriculture and Livestock in Riyadh Affiliated to the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture on Thursday, February 9, 2023, in order to develop their knowledge skills and increase their scientific knowledge in their field of specialization.
The visit began with a reception and welcome of the student delegation and a presentation of the most important achievements of the center. Then the student delegation visited the various laboratories in the center, which Includes:

The program was prepared and presented by Dr. Amany Osman, Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry. The Department of Chemistry achieved the eighth place in publication in 2017 among Saudi universities, according to the classification of the Webof Science @ Network, contributing 2.3% of the total contributions of chemistry departments in the Kingdom, which amounted to 18%.
The Student Advisory Council of the Department of Chemistry met today, Wednesday, February 22, 1440 AH, in the presence of the supervisor of cultural activities in the department, Dr. Hani Mustafa, and the department coordinator, Mr. Maged Azzam. On Monday, 27/02/1440 AH, in the lobby of the College of Applied Medical Sciences, which aims to acquaint the preparatory year students with the rules and mechanisms of assignment and the study system in the various disciplines that are available for admission. The Department of Chemistry aims at an effective participation by the students of the department, in which they explain the mission and objectives of the chemistry program, with clarification of job opportunities after graduation, and some chemical experiments that express the magic of chemistry will also be conducted.
In the context of activating the college’s mission towards community service, the Department of Chemistry received a delegation of students from the intermediate and secondary schools in Al-Kharj on Wednesday 01/02/1440 AH. About 20 students from the third grade of secondary school participated in the visit, accompanied by Mr. Hamdi Al-Shalawi, Mr. Abdullah Al-Zahrani and Mr. Jamal Al-Juhani, where they were received by Dr. Ayman Al-Sawaf, Head of the Chemistry Department, in the College’s Honors Hall, in addition to some of the faculty members and members of the Student Advisory Council of the Department of Chemistry. As well as the affiliation of a distinguished constellation of faculty members in various branches of chemistry from different nationalities. The visiting students toured the college to get acquainted with the college laboratories, where the visit began in the laboratories of the Physics Department, in which the students listened to a detailed explanation of the most important experiments offered by the Physics Department and their importance in life. Which is conducted according to the sub-disciplines of chemistry, which are organic, inorganic, analytical and physical chemistry. At the end of the tour, memorial photos were taken for this occasion.
In the context of activating the message of the Department of Chemistry towards community service, as well as activating the activities of the Arab Chemistry Week, the College of Sciences and Human Studies in Al-Kharj, represented by the Department of Chemistry, received a student delegation from the High School of Ajyal Al-Kharj National Schools on Thursday, February 16, 1440 AH. About 25 students participated in the visit. They were received by Dr. Ayman Al-Sawaf, Head of the Chemistry Department, in the College's Honorary Hall, in addition to some of the faculty members in the Department of Chemistry. In the beginning, the head of the department gave a speech in which he welcomed the visitors, then he talked about the establishment of the department and what it has reached in terms of containing laboratories equipped with the latest equipment and the affiliation of a group of distinguished faculty members of different nationalities to the department. In the laboratories of the Physics Department, in which the students listened to a detailed explanation of the most important experiments offered by the Physics Department and their importance in life. and physical. The Department of Chemistry at the College of Science and Human Studies in Al-Kharj participated in attending the educational symposium held by the Saudi Chemical Society - on Thursday, Muharram 6, 1439 AH - in the building of the Department of Chemistry at King Saud University under the title "Chemistry and its interrelationship with other fields. The symposium began with an opening speech by His Excellency Dr. Zaid Abdullah Al-Othman - President The Gulf Chemists Union - known as the Arab Chemical Week, then the symposium multiplied, including talking about chemistry, employment and food security, and then concluded with an open discussion in which the students’ questions and inquiries were answered by those in charge of the symposium.
