Spreading the culture of quality in the department
Reviewing course files (Portfolios)
Reviewing the updated files of community service, scientific research, and graduates, and ensuring that any new activities are added
Preparing the program report for the first and second semester/annual (Annual Program Report) in the “Male and Female Students” sub-section
Updating the self-evaluation scales for the program in the two branches of the department
Updating the self-study report for programs (SSRP) in the department’s two branches
Preparing and processing the academic accreditation files for the program
Follow up on the latest publications of the National Center for Academic Accreditation and Evaluation
Communicate with accreditation bodies approved by the university
Coordinating the meetings of the accreditation team with faculty members and students in the department

Committee’s Tasks
Preparing a proposal for study plans for the department's programs in coordination with the members of the department council
Work on preparing study schedules; to be delivered in a timely manner
Review the teaching load of faculty members
Updating the study schedules committee’s file periodically to suit the department’s needs
Distributing the department's courses to the designated halls
Regarding the examination committee
Preparing the final exam schedule
Ensure that classrooms are equipped in terms of: chairs, lighting, and air conditioning
Distribution of halls and observation rooms in the final exam schedule
Follow up on the progress of final exams, including
Follow up on the attendance of observers at tests, and provide an alternative in emergency cases
Receiving questions and student lists from the course instructors, and handing them over to the committees
Receiving answer sheets and signatures from the examination committees, and delivering them to the course professor
Submit a daily report on the progress of final exams
Identifying disadvantaged students and following up on names; To ensure that the student does not enter the subject test while he is deprived
Arranging the halls according to the number of students in the course

Ensure the availability of all laboratory equipment and student services for all programs offered by the department
Ensuring the availability of plans for maintaining student equipment and services
Submitting a periodic report to the department head at the end of each year to do the necessary work on a proposal
Supervising the availability of guidelines for security and safety procedures in laboratories and classrooms
Spreading awareness and preparing guidance publications on security and safety procedures for various risks and distributing them to students at the beginning of the academic year
Preparing questionnaires to measure the satisfaction of beneficiaries of devices and laboratories

Working to raise the research skills of department employees through specialized courses and lectures
Searching for postgraduate programs that meet the needs of Vision (2030) of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
Activating the research partnership between members of the department, the college, and other colleges inside and outside the university
Preparing and following up on the department’s scholarship file
Follow up on the department’s graduate program files
Receiving project proposals from faculty members and approving them before the beginning of the semester
Establishing a clear mechanism for distributing students to graduation projects and implementing in accordance with the executive rules for graduation projects approved by the University Vice Presidency for Educational and Academic Affairs
Create a database containing the projects, their supervisors, student names, and other necessary information
Work to create a topic bank containing faculty members’ proposals for use in graduation projects, taking into account that they are applied projects that serve the university and society
