The principal objective of the sports at the College of Science and Humanities is to prepare and nourish students’ talents in a positive and conducive way.In accession, through sports, we also aim at  invoking them with sportsmanship, constructive use of leisure and codify their personalities into promising citizens. The College is always extending adequate measures and full support to its students so that they may participate competitions inside and outside the University.

This semester, the College started forming sports sections in the Departments to arrange a tournament within the College. This tournament consisted of various sports events such as table tennis and billiards.Furthermore, the College provided all necessary equipment and materials such as football and swimming costumes, etc. to carry on these activities.

Following are the sports activities at the College of Science and Humanities:

  •   College football team (includes only students)
  •   College football team (includes College employees)
  •   Volleyball team
  •   Swimming team
  •   Table tennis team
  •   Billiards team
  •   Horse riding

Activities for the current semester:

  •  College table tennis team:

      To represent the College in the tournament at the University level.

  •  College football team:

      To represent the College in the University Rector Championship.

  • College volleyball team:

      To represent the College in the University Rector Championship.

  • College swimming team:

      To represent the College in the University Rector Championship.

  •  Interdepartmental tournament (patronized by the Dean)

 

Achievements of the College:

  •      Won second position in the University Rector Volleyball Cup (1434)
  •      The College employees won first position in the University Rector Football Cup
  •      The College won the first position in table tennis in the University Rector Championship
  •     One of the College players won the cup for the Best Player of the University Championship and was adjudged the Player of the University.
